Coiled Tubing Services

 We currently boasts of five (5) coil tubing packages that can be utilised for onshore &        offshore interventions, inclusive of well pressure control equipment rated to between 10,000psi and 15,000psi 

Our coiled tubing units include truck mounted, trailer mounted and the skid mounted units. The trailer mounted unit is one of a kind, as it has the unique advantage of being suited for offshore/onshore applications. The entire package is assembled on a trailer bed which can be mobilized to site as a single entity for land area use and alternatively disassembled into skids for offshore area applications. 

Nitrogen Lift 

Hydroserve provides Nitrogen Lift services for newly completed wells, workover wells and wells that require unloading of fluid in the hydrostatic column to enable it sustain flow. This is achieved with the aid of nitrogen converters that convert liquid nitrogen to gaseous nitrogen. These pumps are rated 10,000psi working pressure with max flow rates up to 180,000 scf/hr. and are zone II rated.  

Hydroserve has 5 Nitrogen converters available in country. 

With the well-known industry software called CIRCA, we can run simulations to determine the optimum lift depth and nitrogen rate to ensure that nitrogen is utilized efficiently to bring the well to production. 

 Thru tubing  

Hydroserve deploys specialised thru-tubing tools for interventions like fishing, milling, etc. In the past, we has milled through HUD caused by cement, scales, etc. and also fished out tools via coil tubing for tools and other items lost in holes that will require the superior pull that cannot be provided Slickline or as a result of the well deviation. The bottom hole assembly (BHA) to be utilized is selected based on the fish in hole, material to be milled and general conditions downhole.  CIRCA is utilized to simulate the tubing forces analysis, expected weight gauge at TD, milling gauge, etc. 

 Production enhancement 

Hydroserve provides a variety of Production Enhancement Services, one of which is acid stimulation/matrix acidizing to remove a variety of formation damage with treatment placed via coiled tubing. Careful engineering and laboratory analyses are put into consideration in proposing acid strengths, additives and application method. 

In collaboration with Halliburton, Hydroserve has performed sand consolidation and water shut off treatments. Also collaborating with Baker Hughes, we have been able treat wells with high wax production pumping microcure E2. We have available blenders to mix different treatment recipes and High pressure pumps whose working pressure ranges 11,250psi to 20,000psi to pump these treatments into the coil tubing pipe. 

 Well cleanout

Hydroserve provides Well Cleanout Services which involves sand/debris/fill removal with the aid of the multi jet bidirectional spinning wash tool. The tool is designed to run in both a cleanout and circulating operation when washing the inside of tubing. The jetting action rotates in a continuous 360ᵒ action. It allows pressurized fluid through selected multi-pattern nozzles to remove scale of tubing obstruction to optimize well flow. Design advantages and benefits of the tool include 

  • Incorporates designed nozzles that minimize flow cut.  
  • High tensile stainless materials that resist corrosion.  
  • Replaceable nozzles in standard or customer flow rates  
  • Bi-Directional Up & Down jetting pattern 

 Cement Plug & Well Abandonment 

Hydroserve performs zonal isolation via coil tubing  by pumping cement to isolate zones that have watered out, and for temporary or permanent well abandonment. We have a standard laboratory available to run various analyses design a slurry that will ensure adequate thickening time for the cement to be pumpable and also have the needed compressive strength when it sets. 

We have performed cement packer jobs where the installed mechanical parker is failing, leading to surface communication between the producing zones via the annulus between the production tubing and casing.
